What are certified organic cosmetics?

A GENUINE certified organic product must display the Cosmébio label which is issued by ECOCERT the French Independent Body for inspection and certification.

This Ecological and Organic Cosmetic label, commonly known as Cosmébio, guarantees that:
- a minimum of 95% of ingredients are natural in origin
- a minimum of 95% of vegetable ingredients are organically produced
- 10% of the total of the ingredients of the formula are organically produced

The fundamental principles of the Cosmébio charter…

Once the formulation has been completed , the development process of an Organically certified product as well as the ethical policy of its mother company have to be consistent with the fundamental principles of the Cosmébio charter, that is to say:

-To develop cosmetic products made up of natural ingredients and above all produced using tested organic processes.
-To use transformation and productions processes which do not pollute and are environmentally friendly.
-To develop products which meet precise specifications and are guaranteed by independent inspection according to a standard*.
-To be a company which is actively committed to its goals in respect of sustainable development.
-To adopt a dynamic management system for quality within the terms of a progressive standard.
