Pioneers of certified organic* sun care cosmetics in supermarkets / hypermarkets, our knowledge of active ingredients either natural or organic allow us to offer the consumer a complete range of cosmetics that are natural or certified organic* for the body, face and hair.

 

The formulation and manufacturing of our products following strict and rigorous criteria, give credit to our socially responsible approach.

THE LOVEA BIO PROMISE

LOVEA BIO is committed, through its ethics charter, to respecting human beings and the environment at all stages of design and production of their products; and to offer you certified organic* products which are both accessible and pleasurable.

In accordance with the Cosmébio charter, our formulas are paraben-FREE,  phenoxyethanol-FREE, PEG-FREE, colouring agent-FREE, synthetic fragrance-FREE.

All of our LOVEA BIO products are at least 98% of natural origin.

  • Our packaging and outer-packaging are recyclable.
  • Our transformation procedures and manufacturing process are non-polluting and rigourously controlled.
  • Our factory does sorting and recycling.
  • The tests which we carry out on our finished products are not done on animals.

 

The Ecological and Certified Organic Cosmetic label guarantees that:

 

- A minimum of 95% of the ingredients of the finished product are natural or of natural origin
- A minimum of 95% of the vegetable ingredients are organically produced
- A minimum of 10% of the total of the ingredients are organically produced

Inspection and certification is carried out by a French control body :

This independent body which is recognised by the State will only allow the Ecological and Certified Organic Cosmetic label to be placed on cosmetics which are certified as conforming to the ECOCERT* standard. This body monitors the ingredients used in the product, the way it’s packaged, produced, packed, and stored as well as the waste and energy management processes used during the manufacture of the product.

The Bio Cosmétique Ecologique et Biologique label (Ecological and Certified Organic Cosmetics label) guaranties that:

  • 95% minimum of the ingredients of the finished products are natural or of natural origin
  • 95% minimum of the plant ingredients are of organic origin
  • 10% minimum of all of the ingredients are of organic origin
  • French Control and Certification Organization

This independent state-recognized organization gives cosmetics the Bio Cosmétique Ecologique et Biologique label (Ecological and Certified Organic Cosmetics label) , if and only if, the product is certified as conforming to the ECOCERT* standard. This organization controls the composition of the products, its packaging, its manufacture, its stocking as well as waste management and energy consumption linked to the realisation of this product.

PARTNERSHIPS

 

Thanks to its eco-citizen actions, Lovea has seduced two communities who have a love for the oceans and are respectful of the ocean floors: the Maud Fontenoy Foundation and the surfers. Lovea is the Official Partner of the French Surfing Federation.

From the first rays of sunshine, the Lovea products will be enhanced by the 450 French surf instructors in the 150 surfing schools on the French beaches and will actively participate in the 32-day beach tour in 18 cities in France by the Maud Fontenoy Foundation, symbol of ocean and coastal protection and the dangers that threaten them.
