Pioneers in certified organic* sun care products in the supermarket / hypermarket sector, Laboratoires Biocos now offers its consumers a complete range of natural or certified organic* cosmetics for the body, face and hair.

A success story!

1994: Birth of the Laboratoires Serval, manufacturers and distributors of sun care cosmetic products in Castres.

2006: Four investors, including Frédéric Grange, the current CEO, purchase the Laboratoires Serval. The position of the brand is totally redefined: innovation will be at the centre of the strategy. From this change a complete range of sun care protection is born for which the emblematic active ingredient will be Tahitian Monoi, a delicious frangrance from the islands, with a pleasant formulation, recognized effectiveness and pricing 20% lower than that of its rivals.

2008: Launch of the first certified organic* sun care cosmetic product range in supermarkets / hypermarkets -  LOVEA BIO: a success!

2009: Laboratoires Serval purchases Laboratoires Copar, manufacturers and distributors of natural and certified organic* cosmetics. The certified organic* beauty products line is expanded. From this purchase is born Laboratoires Biocos.

As an answer to the growth of the company, corporate headquarters is transferred to the Midi-Pyrénées in premises of 5000 m² where a team of 50 people develop, manufacture, package and distribute the three brands: Lovea, Lovea BIO and Copar.

Since 2010, Laboratoires Biocos have decided to unite and unify their product ranges under one brand: Lovea.

In 2011, Laboratoires Biocos reinforced their Quality approach by becoming certified ISO 9001**.

Laboratoires BIOCOS affirms their implication in the respect of the environment by appealing to two communities who have a love for the oceans: the French Surfing Federation and the Maud Fontenoy Foundation. The summer of 2011 is marked by the contest Loveattitude for which Alizé Arnaud,  junior world champion of surfing honoured us by being the sponsor.
